Inside the Storm

Inside the Storm came out of time spent in my home studio, where I started experimenting with a 6/8 groove and an 80s-inspired sound palette. What began as a musical idea quickly turned into something more personal.

The track is about that feeling of being pulled in a direction you can’t fully control, while on the outside everything still looks steady. It reflects moments where I realized how easy it is to hide what’s really going on underneath.

With its mix of vintage synths and cinematic layers, Inside the Storm carries both energy and tension — something I wanted to feel as well as hear.

ALBUM: PASSING

The album 'Passing' is created through an online collaboration between singer-songwriter Ellen Kussy (The Netherlands) and multi-instrumentalist David Stahl (Germany).

Passing is about the limited duration of human life in this world. "We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through". Each song on the album represents a different stage of life and an element of nature is connected to each stage to express the way we observe, learn, love and grow.

I am a singer-songwriter and music producer from The Netherlands (Arnhem, Gelderland) with a wide taste in music. I prefer not to limit myself to one particular genre and I hope you will discover that while listening to my songs and the projects I collaborated on.
